2018 - Wyman Memorial Challenge "Rendezvous"

Ride in the tracks of America's first long-distance motorcyclist.  Experience the awe and challenges of Wyman's historic journey from San Francisco to New York City.  Rendezvous each evening and share the adventure with fellow riders along the Grand Tour.  Not enough time for the Grand Tour?  Ride the Wyman Memorial 50cc Gold challenge - San Francisco to New York City in less than 50 hours.

WHATThe George A. Wyman Memorial Challenge -  The Grand Tour event will feature a "Rendezvous" at the end of each riding day.   Grand Tour riders visit the Wyman waypoints at their own pace. At the end of the riding day riders are encouraged to 'Rendezvous' at a designated location to enjoy a meal and the camaraderie of fellow riders. See the details below.

Iron Butt Association certification is awarded to successful finishers for either of the events of the George A. Wyman Memorial Challenge:

  • Memorial Grand Tour - San Francisco to New York City riding waypoint to waypoint. Achieve Gold, Silver, Bronze or Finisher levels
