"...It rained the night I stopped in Terrace, and, starting the next morning at 5:10 o'clock, I had to walk for several miles along the tracks; then I struck the desert, and found that the rain had left the sand hard enough to make good riding. Waypoint Today: Wyman did not mention passing through Corinne after riding 100 miles over the north shore of the Great Salt Lake. Following the roads adjacent to the rail bed of the Transcontinental RR, he would have passed right by Corinne. The Mayor of Corinne was delighted to include the Wyman story to the rich history of this community.
