602.1 Edison - Memorial

Walcott to Laramie WY, June 2

"...From Walcott, which I left at 6:30 a.m., it is uphill traveling eastward all the way to Laramie. I passed through the mining town of Hanna, peopled mostly by Finns and Negroes, and past the railroad stations of Edson, Dana, Allen and Medicine Bow. ..."

Waypoint Today:  Wyman was traveling along the Transcontinental RR track when he passed through the Edison station.  Today, the Edison siding area is not occupied and is literally in the middle of nowhere.

Would be a great place for a Waypoint Sign.  Alas, only UPRR Engineers and maintenance crews would ever see it.
