Waypoint Today: Wyman rode into Chappell along what is now US30 the "Gold Rush Highway." He stopped for lunch at the "Hotel at Chappell" and took the photo pictured below. Although George didn't identify the exact location of the "Hotel at Chappell" his picture is remarkably similar to the historic boarding house at the corner of 2nd Street and US30.
