Kimball to Ogallala NE, June 7
"...It began to rain shortly before I got to Ogallala, and I had to pedal over the last 15 miles...Ogallala is only a "little jerkwater station," as they say in this country, but it was nightfall when I reached there, and it was raining hard, so I put up there for the night."
