Waypoint Today: Wyman was heading to Chicago. This part of Illinois was dense with farming roads. Wyman elected to follow the roads that were close to the Chicago and Northwestern RR. Wyman was north of the rail line. He eventually intersected the then main road out of Clinton heading to Dixon.
